Business Development Intern

In this role, you'll dive into the exciting realm of government and technology, supporting our Sales team in initiating and closing B2G deals with various public sector organizations.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in identifying and cultivating business opportunities with government agencies
  • Support the generation of government leads through cold calling and email prospecting
  • Conduct online research to identify and qualify ideal customer profiles, working to expand the current product offering
  • Collaborate closely with internal operations and marketing teams on key initiatives
  • Represent the company with professionalism and integrity at all times
  • Final Deliverable: Create, develop, and present a sales strategy pitch deck to Glass’ Executive Leadership and CEO

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program at a college or university
  • Passion for prospecting: You will be a key part of our sales team, actively seeking and warming up leads for outside sales
  • Comfortable with cold calling to schedule new client meetings and drive sales growth
  • Ability to work with a strong sense of urgency and deliver results
  • Demonstrated curiosity and a positive attitude
  • Strong prioritization skills to efficiently manage a high volume of leads
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Team player with an entrepreneurial spirit, willing to explore new ideas for success
  • Self-motivated, persistent, and goal-oriented, capable of working independently or as part of a team
  • Proficiency with the Google suite
  • Well-developed multitasking, organizational skills, and attention to detail
  • Energy, motivation, enthusiasm, and integrity

Preferred Qualifications (not required but a plus)

  • Previous experience in sales, business development, or a related field
  • Understanding of government procurement processes
