DoIT in partnership with Social Glass have conducted internet research over the last month to compare prices for small technology purchases. No purchases were made during this period, neither is DoIT obligated to make future purchases. The focus and scope of the pilot was limited to data gathering only.
DoIT staff created a list of potential technology purchases and obtained price quotes from our most used technology sites. Once DoIT obtained a price list, the staff took the same technology lists and conducted price searches/research on the Social Glass portal.
