Vendor Onboarding Interns

We are seeking Vendor Onboarding Interns to support our Government Suppliers team with the end-to-end process of onboarding local businesses as official government suppliers to Town of Purcellville's Local Portal. The Vendor Onboarding Interns will be responsible for researching, identifying, and onboarding local businesses in Purcellville and new Local Portals to their newly-created, fully-digital platforms, and provide support with the onboarding of their products. These are full-time internships in Purcellville, Virginia and remote.

Responsibilities

  • Research and identify local businesses in Purcellville, Virginia
  • Onboard those local businesses into Purcellville's Local Portal
  • Support local businesses with the onboarding of products to their Government Online Store
  • Identify user experience improvements for these businesses in Purcellville's Local Portal
  • Conduct meetings and training sessions to educate and support local businesses about Purcellville's Local Portal benefits

Qualifications

  • Be based in Purcellville, Virginia, or be available to work remotely
  • Good understanding of Business Development, Sales, Supplier Operations or any related field
  • Experience and interest in working with small businesses
  • Highly organized, self-starter with attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work with agile teams remotely
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and a creative mindset

Government Software Sales Associate

We are seeking Government Software Sales Associates to co-develop and execute our sales strategy. We're looking for highly-motivated individuals experienced in selling SaaS solutions to government agencies in the US, and capable of understanding these agencies' biggest challenges, to provide them with solutions that address their needs.

We are looking for Associates who share our core values, know how to work urgently with optimism, and would add to our extremely driven culture. At GLASS we're creating a software ecosystem that simplifies governments’ processes to support them in operating more efficiently, transparently and responsively. As a Government Software Sales Associate, you will be a part of that mission.

Responsibilities

  • Drive success of the company’s goals and objectives through achieving individual sales quotas to government
  • Build and manage a sales pipeline through prospecting efforts within Public Sector agencies
  • Develop and deliver sales presentations and products demonstrations to governments, by phone and via online demos

Qualifications

  • Proven track record of selling SaaS solutions into the Public Sector
  • Direct sales experience in an enterprise level Account Executive role or equivalent quota-carrying role
  • Great negotiation and communication skills
  • Experience managing and closing complex sales cycles
  • Deep understanding of the sales process and dynamics
  • Highly organized, self-starter with attention to detail
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and a creative mindset
